Treat kidney stones naturally

Couple of weeks before, I got a sharp pain in the left lower abdomen. Later realized that, it could be a kidney stone. So searched in Google about it. It seems most of the person could get a kidney stone.

What kidney does ?

Kidney purifies the blood and removes wastes from the body. In other words, it removes excess vitamins and minerals that our body could not absorb. It also does several other functions.

What are kidney stones ?

Most of the kidney stones are calcium oxalate stones. Persons who are deficient in Vitamin A and Vitamin K are likely to get kidney stones and excessive Vitamin C, D will also lead to the stone formation. So we need a balance of these 4 vitamins.

A typical kidney stone

To make it simple, these are real life scenarios to prevent kidney stones...

Take more water, urine should not look yellow

People who take less water will have risk of getting kidney stone. Kidney does the purification through water. If water is less, kidney is concentrated and thus calcium will be formed because of high concentration of waste fluid. If kidney has more water, calcium gets dissolve in it and runs out as urine. In fact, brain sense the thirst through kidney.

Drink a cup of milk everyday

Milk is a rich source of calcium. So how it will help to prevent kidney stone ? Milk also has vitamin A and vitamin K. These 2 vitamins helps the bone to absorb calcium from blood. So calcium content in blood will get reduced. Thus preventing stones.

Found some recipes that could treat kidney stone in natural way.

The Banana Stem

A nearby vegetable merchant told, he never sell banana stem as he went to a loss, people not buying it. I realized most of the people don't know the medicinal benefits of banana stem.

Move to Greener world - Solar Panel

Gujarat goes Green with solar panels on Narmada Canal

The small Indian state in the west side of India sharing its borders with Pakistan, Gujarat is promisingly developing and its Chief Minister, Mr. Narendar Modi is doing a very commendable job. The Janmarg BRTS and the GSRTC Volvo Wifi buses already being hit projects, now joins one more in the line – The state now generates electricity from solar panels laid atop the Narmada Canal.

The solar panels are being laid atop the Narmada branch canal near Chandrasan village of Mehsana’s Kadi taluka, around 75 km from Ahmedabad. The Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) will install these solar panels for about 1 km over the Narmada Canal for generating 1 MW of solar power. The engineering, procurement and construction contract for the project has been awarded to Sun Edison at a cost of Rs17.71 crore. In traditional solar energy plants, the solar panels are laid on the land and in this unique method, the solar panels will be covering the canal.

This project is believed to have the following uses:
  • The electricity is generated from renewable solar energy and hence it is clean and environment friendly.
  • Since the canals are covered with solar panels, there will be no explicit need to acquire lands to install the solar project.
  • The water evaporating from the canals will be reduced as the canal will be covered.
  • The power generated will be supplied to villages alongside the canal, which will lead to lower transmission losses.

What was dismissed as an outlandish announcement by chief minister Narendra Modi is turning into reality. Hats off Mr. Narendra Modi
